More about the wine...

Clare Blue Shiraz

Winemaker comments:

"To ensure that this wine maintains its integrity of flavour and balance that we saw as so desirable at bottling we have chosen to seal the bottle with the classic Stelvin closure. No more doubts of flavour taints that could arise from cork contact. The wonderful lift of chocolate/spice so typical of Polish Hill River fruit is balanced with subtleties of oak from 20 months maturation in French and American barrels. The wine has immediate enjoyment with the fine tannin and acid balance giving added benefits for those who desire 6 - 8 years cellaring."
